- Basketball registration is $55 per player
- Cheerleading registration is $65 per cheerleader
- Skills Assessment: We will offer one on November 16th (9am-11am) and one on December 14th (9am-11am) in the Family Life Center (FLC) gymnasium.
- Open Gym: Meet coaches and play fun games in December.
- First practice: Wednesday, January 8th or Thursday, January 9th in the FLC gymnasium.
- Game Schedule: All games will be on Saturday mornings from January into March
The sponsorship program can be another way for businesses or individuals to participate in this ministry and benefit young athletes who may be unable to financially participate in the program. Sponsorships will include your name or business on a banner that will be placed in the gym. These banners are great encouragements for parents, and are a visual way to show others in our community that you or your business supports these kids. Sponsorships range from $50 to $200.

What is Love and Respect?
We believe love best motivates a woman and respect most powerfully motivates a man. Research reveals that during marital conflict a husband most often reacts unlovingly when feeling disrespected, and a wife reacts disrespectfully when feeling unloved. We asked 7,000 people the question, “When you are in a conflict with your spouse or significant other, do you feel unloved or disrespected?” 83% of the men said “disrespected” and 72% of the women said “unloved.” Though we all need love and respect equally, the felt need differs during conflict, and this difference is as different as pink is from blue!
Join us for this 10-week study on Wednesday nights starting June 5th from 6-7:30pm. It will be a great time together in study, discussion and fellowship. You haven’t been married too little or too long to benefit from this material. Childcare is provided.
Cost is only $10 for a workbook, but we ask that you sign up in the church office by phone or sign up below by May 19th to make sure that we have enough resources.

On Sunday December 17th we learned that Pastor Troy Teeter accepted the calling to be the senior pastor for our church!
We are very excited to have him and Kim coming to Baker City in January and getting settled into the community.
The Church Board wants to thank all of you for your prayers concerning this important decision for our church family.
From Pastor Troy’s Facebook on 12/17/2017.
“Well, the news is out and we are excited to share that Kim and I have accepted the senior pastorate of Baker City, Oregon Church of the Nazarene.
While we are extremely excited for this new part of our journey, we are sad to be leaving what has truly become a home for us in Aurora with many friends that we count as family. So many emotions, but God is faithful and continues to sustain us and gives us peace.”
