Missions

Our church serves in missionary work as part of Nazarene Missions International (NMI). NMI is the local church-based global mobilization and promotional arm of the Church of the Nazarene. The purpose of NMI is to mobilize the church in missions through the four areas of: praying, educating, giving, and disciplining.

At the Baker City Church of the Nazarene, our church body supports an active NMI organization to meet local and international needs. Currently the church is contributing to:

  • World Evangelism Fund (Easter and Thanksgiving offerings)
  • Alabaster Offering (February and September)
  • Compassionate Ministries (Crisis Care kits, School Pal-packs)
  • World Mission Broadcast
  • International Day of Prayer
  • Mission Books for Adults and children
  • Operation Christmas Child- Samaritan’s Purse
  • Work and Witness Service trips
