Our church offer lots of opportunities during the week for women to connect with other women.
MOPS
‘MOPS’ (Mothers of Preschoolers) is an international non-denominational, Christian based group that offers support for mothers of young children. We encourage all Moms to attend: expectant, single, working, stay at home, teen, any type of mother you may be! MOPS is about celebrating motherhood by meeting moms’ needs: making connections with other moms and experiencing God’s love through relationships and resources.
MOPs meets on the first and third Tuesday of the month from 9:00 to 11:00 am in the Fellowship Hall (from September through May). Contact Diedra Richards at the church office 541.523-3353 for more information.
MOM’s Next
‘MOM’s Next‘ (Mothers of Elementary Age) is also a program that we host at our church for mothers of children that are now in school, and still desire some of the needs that are provided in MOPS.

Heart and Hands Quilting
The Heart and Hands Quilting group is open to anyone who wants to come from the local communities. They meet each Thursday of the month from 9:30 am until 3:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall of the Nazarene church.
Some ladies bring their sewing machines to work on their items; some ladies bring their knitting or crocheting; some ladies bring scrapbooking items or other things they want to work on. They also have a “bring-your-own-lunch” lunch time at noon and one lady brings dessert for that day. The day is open so come whenever you like and leave whenever you like.
We have fun and fellowship, and share ideas and sewing knowledge. Occasionally, we make donation quilts for various agencies and each other. If you like to fellowship with other seamstresses, you’ll like it here. For more information please call Monica Bailey at 541.523.4600.
Women’s Bible Study
This group meets and works through various Bible Studies throughout the year on Wednesdays from 1:30-3:30pm. Contact the Church office if you need more information. They will start a new study entitled Jesus and Women in September 202o. Contact the church office if you are interested in participating.
